I think I'm getting bored with football full stop. Maybe I'm getting old. Used to watch live games all the time but haven't watched one that doesn't include West Ham in years. Don't think I've seen MOTD in ages and only watch England in tournaments. Either me or today's football is a bit crap!

I think like a lot of sport now is that there aren't any characters anymore. That's why I like the likes of Antonio who doesn't take himself too seriously. Skill and flair, certainly with English players seems to have been coached out of the lot of them, which is why I get a buzz when Declan bursts forward with a run. How many players run with the ball these days>? There isn't a Gazza any more or those flair players of the 70's. Mind you even the England managers back then ignored the likes of Alan Hudson, Tony Currie, Frank Worthington and Stan Bowles and that bizarrely includes our own Ron Greenwood when he was at the helm.

Rice showed up Henderson when he came on. I can’t see Henderson starting any important games now.
Really poor display overall but no surprise with the b team out there. Cannot understand how Olli Watkins gets anywhere near the squad.
